2022-2025 Fire emergency preparedness in school
The objectives of the project
- To create awareness on fire preparedness/response at secondary school’s level
- To train students and school community on how to use fire extinguishers and how fire smoke detectors work
- To install fire extinguishers and smoke detectors to 150 schools in 50 districts in 10 regions in Tanzania mainland
- To work with school leaders to start the preparation of fire/disaster preparedness plan at schools
- To distribute disaster/fire emergency manuals at schools
