DONOR: JTI Foundation The project is funded by the JTI Foundation, a Switzerland-based charitable organization managed by JTI (parent company of TCC Plc). The Foundation focuses on disaster risk reduction and disaster relief efforts globally, collaborating with trusted NGOs to deliver impactiul projects.
PROJECT FOCUS: The project aims to provide immediate humanitarian assistance to flood-affected vulnerable households in Rufiji District, while also focusing on disaster risk reduction, capacity building, and long-term resilience for the affected communities. The intervention will involve food distribution, provision of early maturing seeds, and training for agricultural recovery and disaster preparedness.
