The  objectives of  the project are

1.To create awareness on fire preparedness/response at secondary school’s level;

2.To train students and school community on how to use fire extinguishers and how fire smoke detectors work;

3.To install fire extinguishers and smoke detectors to 150 schools in 50 districts in 10 regions in Tanzania mainland;

4.To work with school leaders to start the preparation of fire/disaster preparedness plan at schools;

5. To distribute disaster/fire emergency manuals at schools.
